The Weekly Digest

Kickstart your content creation journey!

Follow my lead if you want to do it step-by-step!

Last week, I held a planning session about our goals through March 2025. And in a surprise twist, I revealed this is actually my Lecture #1: How to Make A Good Future!

Iā€™ve always believed in the power of transparency and demonstration. If youā€™ve always been curious about being a content creator, this planning session and lecture are perfect for getting a behind-the-scenes look at how content can be planned from start to finish.

Want to apply all of our learnings to your own brand? Here are some quick tips:

  • Choose Your Platforms: Based on where your audience hangs out, consider YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or a blog.

  • Define Your Niche: What topics are you passionate about? Think about what you can consistently create content around.

  • Create a Content Calendar: Plan your posts weekly or monthly to stay organized and consistent. See how your content creation can fit your schedule so you achieve work-life balance!

  • šŸ’¬ Engage with Your Audience: Ask for feedback and involve them in your content decisions. Be someone they can relate to, especially if it involves hobbies you all like!

  • šŸ–¼ļø Start Small: Create short videos or blog posts to build confidence, generate a following, and encourage consistency. Remember, only create content you can do consistently!

Learner's Insights

Embrace the experimentation phasešŸ’”

Letā€™s analyze the EZ English Game Show!

Did you know we created the EZ English Game Show as soon as we thought of the idea?

When it comes to launching your brand, the most important thing is to just start!

Itā€™s natural to want everything to be perfect before diving in, but remember that youā€™re starting from scratch. This is your chance to experiment, learn, and grow without the pressure of a large following.

The beauty of beginning now is that you can try different styles, formats, and topics without worrying about judgment. So, donā€™t overthink itā€”grab your phone or laptop and start creating! Hereā€™s what weā€™ve done for the EZ English Game Show:

  • Brainstorm Ideas: I started thinking of English-related social games I could expand to a wider audience. I chose some I thought were interesting, but I havenā€™t thought of the output yet. This is just the ideation process.

  • Choose One Idea: I picked the best word games I would also enjoy playing.

  • Create a Quick Draft: Since I will host the game show, I must familiarize myself with the rules. I made quick drafts of posts looking for participants and an outline of what Iā€™d need to set upā€”timers, scoreboards, and references for the games.

  • Record or Write: Donā€™t worry about perfectionā€”just get it done! During our livestream, I just went all out and enjoyed the games. If I made a mistake or noticed something I could do better, I took notes to improve the next EZ English Games episode. Trust the process!

  • Share It: Post your creation on your chosen platform and invite feedback from friends or followers. I posted the premiere as soon as weā€™re able to edit it!

Try to copy these steps for your own content! Let me know how you did yours!

The EZ English Game Show is open to our EZ English Club members.

Language Tips

Craft Professional Emails Like a Pro!

This year, elevate your email communication skills. Hereā€™s a quick guide to writing effective professional emails:

  • Clear Subject Line: Make it specific (e.g., ā€œFollow-Up on Project Proposalā€).

  • Concise Opening: Start with a friendly greeting and state your purpose in the first sentence.

  • Bullet Points for Clarity: Use bullet points to highlight key information or requests.

  • Polite Closing: End with a courteous closing statement and your name.

Trivia Tidbits

A recent survey by Pearson revealed that 80% of English language learners believe that mastering English is directly linked to their earning potential.

Many respondents expect that strong English skills could lead to as much as an 80% increase in salary. This correlation highlights how critical English proficiency is for career advancement, particularly in global job markets where communication is key.
